Fédération Française des joueurs de Poker (French Federation of Poker Players)

Created in 2005, and representing more than 5,000 members, the main goals of the French Federation of Poker Players are to represent the interests of French poker players in all possible actions by both institutions and individuals of the poker industry. Because of the future evolutions of the law in France, it is vital to defend the values of poker, especially the voice of the players, both amateur and professional.

The French Federation of Poker Players also instigated the “France Poker Tour” and “Campus Poker Masters”, partner events since the first season. Many projects were developed by the Federation, such as the ranking of professional players, and the France Poker Awards.

Thanks to its close contact with players, politicians and poker-rooms, the French Federation of Poker Players is able to supply a whole range of services to tournament organizations, such as official rules, as well as perform a vital lobbying role for the game as it works towards recognition as a Mind Sport.
