Bulgarian Federation of Tournament Poker (BFTP)

The Bulgarian Federation of Tournament Poker (BFTP) was established in March 2010 and while being one of the newest poker federations, was founded by a staff that has years of combined experience in poker event management, media coverage and administration.

The BFTP's main goal is to work hard to train and protect poker players and to promote poker in Bulgaria, ensuring a safe and regulated environment for players .

The BFTP is a non-profit community interest organization formed to unite the poker community in Bulgaria and to provide opportunity to everyone to join a regulated poker body, acting also as a national poker union.

With numerous poker tournaments on record, Bulgaria now has it's first national tournament league named the BALKAN POKER TOUR, and the poker series is poised to spread to the other Balkan countries. This also includes the official Bulgarian Federation of Tournament Poker annual festival, which features a tournament leader board based on events played around the country.

The BFTP's calendar is set to include more poker events in the coming months and the federation is scheduling annual seminars, among all other current activities, to promote and develop poker in Bulgaria.
